Privacy Policy — Anger Management: Toksik

Toksik is designed with privacy in mind. Your data stays on your device. The only time any content leaves your device is when you explicitly press the AI button to use AI Insights. Your text is sent to OpenAI (openai.com), a third-party AI service, solely to generate the requested analysis and is immediately deleted from our servers after the response is returned.

• No accounts required. No cloud sync by default. No ads or tracking.
• Entries, emotions, tags, settings, and analytics stay on your device.
• When you invoke AI Insights, only the needed text snippets are sent to OpenAI (openai.com) for processing. We immediately delete your data from our servers after the response is returned.
• We use RevenueCat for subscriptions; only purchase-related data is shared.
• You can export or delete your data at any time in Settings.

• Entries and emotions
• Tags, categories, and breathing settings
• Local analytics and AI Insight results
• App preferences (theme, language, reminders)

This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you initiate an AI Insight.

AI Insights (Premium, on‑demand)

• Triggered by you: content is sent only when you press the AI button.
• What is sent: only the minimal necessary text snippets required to generate the analysis.
• Processing: your text is sent to our secure backend and forwarded to OpenAI (openai.com), a third-party AI service, solely to generate the requested insight.
• Data retention: we immediately delete your data from our servers after the AI response is returned to your device. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models. OpenAI may retain API inputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring purposes, after which they are deleted. • Result: the generated insight is returned to your device and saved locally. We do not store the input or the output on our servers.

AI Insights are entirely opt-in. No data is ever sent for AI processing unless you explicitly press the AI button. By using AI Insights, you agree that your selected text snippets will be shared with OpenAI (openai.com), a third-party AI service, solely to generate the requested analysis. We immediately delete your data from our servers after the response is returned. You can review OpenAI’s privacy policy at https://openai.com/policies/row-privacy-policy. If you never use AI Insights, no content ever leaves your device.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. Data involved includes purchase receipts, product identifiers, subscription status, and an anonymous user ID. RevenueCat processes this data according to its privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs. Optional platform‑level crash reports may be shared with Apple if you opt in at the OS level and are not linked to your entries or emotions.

We do not sell your data or share personal data with advertisers. Service providers receive only the data necessary to provide their services and are bound by their own privacy terms.

All data transfers use HTTPS with modern encryption. Your entries, emotions, and local analytics remain on your device. We immediately delete your content from our servers after processing.

You can export or delete all data in Settings at any time. You control when AI Insights are used — if you never press the AI button, no content is ever sent. You can manage your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.

Toksik is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy as features evolve. The "Last Updated" date reflects the latest version.
