How is my data stored?
Toksik is local-first. Your entries, settings, and local analytics stay on your device. Nothing is stored on our servers.
When does any data leave my device?
Only when you press the AI button to use AI Insights. The app sends just the minimal text needed to OpenAI (openai.com) for processing. We immediately delete your data from our servers after the response is returned. Results are kept only on your device.
How do I delete all my data?
Open Settings → Data → Delete All Toksies. This permanently removes local data from your device. You can also uninstall the app.
How do I export my data?
Open Settings → Data → Export to create a file you can save or share.
Is Toksik a replacement for therapy?
No. Toksik supports self-reflection only and does not provide medical or psychological advice. For health concerns, consult a qualified professional.
How do I manage subscriptions?
Open the App Store → tap your profile → Subscriptions → Toksik. From there you can change or cancel your plan.
I purchased Premium but it's locked.
Ensure you're on the latest version, then open Settings → Restore Purchases. If it's still locked, email us with your platform (iOS) and approximate purchase date.
Crashes or bugs
